Event and Components:

The event is s a culmination of various activities taken up at various Schools and homes by students and presenting them individually or as teams from Schools. The focus is on generating interest among children in farming and agricultural research. It strives towards a school level model for agricultural extension activities. Agricultural researchers participate in agro-clinics and conduct video presentation to the students for imparting knowledge. Processions, road shows, interactive sessions, live displays and exhibitions invite the attention of the civic community and the participation of various students from the schools makes this an agricultural festival.

The competitive events include presentation of research papers, school level farming projects, poster and photo exhibition. Lectures by agricultural experts and an interaction with winners are organized at the venue. Awards are instituted for outstanding performances.
