7^th Kerala Bala Krishi Sastra Congress

Centre for Innovation in Science and Social Action (CISSA) in association with Agri Friends Krishi Samskarika Vedi is organizing the Seventh Kerala Bala Krishi Sastra Congress on

10^th & 11^th  January 2017 at Jawahar Bala Bhavan Thiruvananthapuram.

The programs are structured to generate an interest in a child’s mind, the love for agriculture and respect for the science. In Seventh Agri Science Congress we insist on the very doctrines that were forgotten over the years to make the world sustainable for all living beings. The focal theme of Seventh Kerala Bala Krishi Sastra Congress will be “Jaiva Keralam: Arogya Keralam” (Organic Kerala: Healthy Kerala )

The Kerala Bala Krishi Sastra Congress will aim at tapping the research potential of children in various areas of agriculture. The aim is to make the event child friendly and every activity is done on a child’s perspective. Hence the student community is all at home with various people of eminence interacting with them on agriculture and farming methodologies. All little findings and interesting observations of students are discussed at length by expert panelists and this serves as a big boost for their morale and interest in their activities. The Congress aims at making the slogan of our Government on “Green Kerala” popular amongst the student community.
