By August 17, 2016General
CISSA’s biennial Annam National Food and Agro Biodiversity Festival does not require more description. It’s impact and meaningfulness are now well aware for all those who stand for the motto, ‘Good food for Good Health’. Annam’s third biennial leg was successfully held last December in Kochi. On every occasion, Annam upholds the objectives of bringing back to mainstream the glories of native, local food, agriculture and culinary heritages.
Now, Annam has evolved into a big movement in Kerala. Thanks to supporters who endorse our objectives. There have been local responses to continue the spirit of Annam. In North Paravur and Manjeri of Kerala, there were Annam Movements undertaken by local people’s movements. To the latest, a good food sensitization programme with strong educational drive against junk and fake food will be held at 10am on 20 August at Govt. High School, Kondotty, Malappuram district, Kerala. The event is held under the aegis of Gandhi Darshan. For more information, please call: 0471 2722151; Email: cissaindia@gmail.com.
