Banana Farmers Association

For the first time, Kerala’s banana farmers have came together and constituted an association of their own for taking up and redressing the issues they have been suffering for long. It was on 14^th July 2019 that banana farmers including veterans having decades of experience in the field got together to form Banana Farmers Association (BFA). Paving way for the formation of such an organization was the relentless efforts exerted by Centre for Innovation in Science and Social Action (CISSA) that organized the first ever National Banana Fest in Kerala last year.
