The event Chaired by Hon. Corporation Ward Councilor, Shri. R. Mini was inaugurated by Hon. MLA, Shri. V.S. Sivakumar. On the occasion quite appropriately, four farmers who could set successful models of organic farming were felicitated by Hon. MLA. They were: Shri. Mohanan Nair, Shri. Raveendran, Shri. The seminar sessions were deftly led by Dr. C.K. Peethambaran (Director, Agriculture, CISSA), Prof. P. Reghunath, Dr. C. Suresh Kumar (General Secretary, CISSA) and Dr. N.G. Balachandranath (Head, Organic Farming Resource Centre, CISSA).
