Today, CISSA offers its humble,but committed share for the World Health Day observation through a day-long programme at North Paravur, Ernakulam. CISSA is pledged to make today’s, a celebration of knowledge pertaining to the WHO theme for the day, Beat Diabetes.
Backing our endeavour are significant organizations including Amrita Diabetic Welfare Association (ADWA), Paravur Town Merchants’ Association; Parvur Taluk Merchants’ Welfare Society and Love All Charitable Trust (LACT).
At 6.30am, Lion Adv. V. Amarnath, District Governor of the Lions Club flagged off a Cyclathon at Vyppin. At 7.30am, a walkathon is held from Vyapari Bhawan. At 9am, a free Medical Camp has begun which will continue until 1pm at Vyapari Bhavan. From 11am onward, there will be presentations by Dr. Usha Menon of Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Dr. C. Suresh Kumar, General Secretary, CISSA.
