Centre for Innovation in Science and Social Action (CISSA), the all time promoters of good health is joining the ‘Kerala Jackfruit Vilambara Yathra’ from 11th to 20th July 2016 at Thiruvananthapuram jointly with Santhigram and Jackfruit Promotion Council (JPC) to stretch out the goodness of jackfruit. “Make jackfruit products part of your daily food and be healthy & immune” is the motto putting forward by the awareness campaign. As part of the jackfruit fest, the centre would organise state level seminars, exhibition of jackfruit products, training on jackfruit product preparation, poster exhibition, cookery competition and lots more about this medicinal fruit.
Hon.Chief Minister of Kerala Shri. Pinarayi Vijayan will be inaugurating Kerala Jackfruit Vilambara yathra at 5 pm on 11th July at Rakthasaakshi Mandapam,Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram. Hon. Finance Minister Dr. Thomas Isaac, Hon. Agriculture Minister Shri. V S Sunil Kumar, Hon. Mayor Shri. V K Prasanth, Thiruvananthapuram District Panchayat President Shri. V K Madhu will grace the occasion.
