Third day of Annam 2015 went on well yesterday with number of visitors in the evening showing a conspicuous increase.
The morning brought huge delight as Hon. Chief Minister of Kerala, Shri. Oommen Chandy commended Annam 2015 for setting a model worth emulative for everyone battling against the foray of fake and polluted food.
“Annam 2015 National Food and Agro Biodiversity Festival has set a model for all those who campaign for the sustenance of organic food” CM added.
The function was chaired by President of CISSA, Dr. G. G. Gangadharan. Shri. Hibi Eden MLA was Chief Guest. Adv. P.S. Sreedharan Pillai made a special address.
Renowned Oncologist Dr. C.N. Moahanan Nair and Dr. A. Anand Kumar gave awareness lectures. Reproductive and Child Health Officer, Dr. Santhakumari offered felicitations. Member of Organizing Committee, Shri. T. Satheesan welcomed participants and Member, CISSA, Shri. Sreekumar proposed vote of thanks.
Cultural evening at Rajendra Maidan found scintillating rhythms of folk music and dances. Archana, a student of Sree Narayana Vidya Peetam school added to the pomp with her enticing Kerala Natanam.
In between, the National Seminar came to a close by lunch time.
