Kasaragod Dwarf Conservation Society is organizing its fourth conference for promoting and protecting native cow breeds at CMS College, Kottayam during 25-28 May 2016. Support of CISSA has been roped in for the conduct of a National Seminar on Green Economics and Desi Cow to be held during the event. A press conference in this regard was held at Kottayam Press Club yesterday (Thursday) in which CISSA was duly represented by its General Secretary Dr. C. Suresh Kumar.
Academic papers are invited for oral and poster presentations Papers based on topics referred within the UNEP’s 2011 Green Economy report, genetic and phenotypic diversity of indigenous cows; Management of indigenous cows; A2 Milk and its implications; Cow-products for human health; and Cow products for plant protection, plant health and sustainable agriculture can be submitted. Awards comprising of citations and mementos will be given for the best papers.
