Entire five thousand delegates of third Global Ayurveda Festival was on cloud nine enjoying their D-day with Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. “The presence of the PM itself is a testimony of the country’s undaunted ambition to nourish Ayurveda into an ever-green, ever-growing profession”, one of the delegates from Karnataka opined excitedly. And such aspirations didn’t go wrong when PM made a speech stuffed with lot of hope for the sustained growth of Ayurveda.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was at Kozhikode, for the first time as the PM, for inaugurating a Vision Conclave to enthuse and inspire Ayurveda fraternity for establishing a prospering future for their profession. And that worked. His presence, gestures and words were duly received with rounds of uproar and applause by the delegates. At the end of the day, the glory of Indian Ayurveda was ascending to pinnacle of attention from around the world.
