The event was jointly organised by Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment, National Green Corps(NGC); and Centre for Innovation in Science and Social Action. About 100 teachers from various educational sub districts took part.

Sathyan (Farming at schools) led classes. NGC District Coordinator, Dr. K.G. Ajit Kumar and Asst. Coordinator Adv. P. Krishna Priya spoke.
