‘Teachers play important role in environmental awareness generation’

He was talking after inaugurating a one-day training provided for school teachers yesterday (22 June) at CISSA’s seminar hall.

The event was jointly organised by Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment, National Green Corps(NGC); and Centre for Innovation in Science and Social Action. About 100 teachers from various educational sub districts took part.

Assistant Educational Officer, Balaramapuram, Unni presided over. Dr. C.K. Peethambaran (Precious Water), Dr. C. Suresh Kumar (Good food for better health) and K.K. Sathyan (Farming at schools) led classes. NGC District Coordinator, Dr. K.G. Ajit Kumar and Asst. Coordinator Adv. P. Krishna Priya spoke.
