As a part of the Project entitled Ex-situ conservation of Medicinal Plants through the establishment of Homestead Medicinal Plant Terrace Gardens for Primary Healthcare in Urban Setting: A Pilot Participatory Project in Thiruvananthapuram City, it is proposed to inaugurate the Vazhuthacaud Ward Level training programme and distribution of Medicinal Plants on 15-12-2016, Thursday at 4 pm at CISSA office.
The Hon’ble Deputy Mayor, Adv. Rakhi Ravikumar has agreed to inaugurate the programme. There will be classes on uses of medicinal plants by Dr.P.Sankarankutty and Dr.S.Rajasekharan. Medicinal Plants will be distributed to 25 houses in Udarasiromani Road Residents Association.
